ACCURSED SPAWN has teamed up with NoCleanSinging.com for the premiere of their music video‘Burned Into Sterility’ filmed at the band’s jam spot by Nick Richer (Norilsk) and Greg Toope from Hvy One Productions (Ottawa). The track is from the band’s second EP Putrid, which can be purchased from the group’s Big Cartel and Bandcamp pages.

“We have a lot more out of town bookings now so we wanted to give people an idea of what we look and feel like as a live band. Nick and Greg (Hvy One Productions) did a great job putting the video together, so we couldn’t be happier to put this out! In terms of the song choice, it was a no-brainer. Burned into Sterility has become a staple in our set, and is a ton of fun to play.” comments drummer Jay Cross.

About:

Harnessing their crazy sense of humor and love of all things metal, vocalist Rob “Rawrb” Kersey and guitarist Josh “The J” Key joined forces with drummer Alex “Shmalex” Dontre and bassist  Matty J “Moose” to create Pyschostick, a band they’ve coined as humorcore. With hilarious lyrics, heavy riffs, notorious stage antics and high-energy performances, the band has caused millions of laughs around the world and hundreds of mosh pits across the US of A, often simultaneously, since its birth in Phoenix, AZ in 2000.

Now residing in Chicago, IL, with four full-length albums behind them – “We Couldn’t Think of a Title” (2006), their holiday album “The Flesh Eating Rollerskate Holiday Joyride” (2007), “Sandwich” (2009),  and “Space Vampires vs. Zombie Dinosaurs in 3D” (2011), the almost 100 percent do-it-yourself laugh factory, Psychostick returns with their signature sound (Chimaira, Machine Head and Hatebreed sexing Tenacious D and Weird Al Yankovic) to showcase their latest offering, the crowd funded album ‘IV: Revenge of The Vengeance’ (fan thank you video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSeQHqMCfJIdue out on November 4, 2014. Featuring a hilarious track listing that includes previously released singles the beard anthem ‘Obey The Beard’ and popular ‘Dog Like Socks’ plus new tracks such as ‘Quack Kills’, ‘So. Heavy’, ‘Blue Screen’, and a tribute to the 21st century’s most beloved action super hero ‘Bruce Campbell’. Psychostick are crazy to share with fans many more comedy sing-a-longs on the road and more!

“In a genre with a lot of anger, aggression and seriousness, every once in a while some levity is good. That’s wherePsychostick come in. Their fourth albumIV: Revenge Of The Vengeance is musically solid and lyrically amusing.” – Heavy Metal – About.com

“humorcore band Psychostick is like the Jerry Seinfeld of metal. On its fourth full-length release, IV: Revenge of The Vengeance, the band’s sound invokes similarities too oddball artists such as Mr. Bungle, GWAR, Primus, Green Jello, Scatterbrain and Austrian Death Machine, to name a few. On its 21 ridiculous tracks (including various short skits between songs), the band explores its brand of observational comedy mixed with brutal breakdowns. The band exceeds expectations by parodying popular culture, relationships and binge drinking.” – Bravewords

“Psychostick pulls the pin from a hand grenade and shoves it down the gullet of comedy. When it explodes, anyone within earshot finds themselves covered in the entrails of hilarity! These guys are off-the-chart insane. Imagine if the cast of “Jackass” formed a metal band with Andy Samberg, Sam Kinison, and Seth Rogen and then they threw a house party that made “Project X” look like amateur hour by comparison. Yeah, now you’re getting it!” – Axs

“I do like when bands like Pyschostick inject humour into songs and REVENGE OF THE VENGEANCE is pretty damn funny…The first single ‘Obey The Beard’ is magnificent and this is coming from a clean-shaven dude. It made me want to grow one. Comedy Metal fans can listen for a couple of inside Metal jokes (Captain Stupid!) and a cameo by ‘snaky’. The production is immaculate and as always these guys are as heavy as hell. Weird Al on crack. I wanted to use that phrase and I couldn’t even think how to work it into this review so I just dumped it here at the end. Humour is so subjective but I know what I like and I really like IV: REVENGE OF THE VENGEANCE.” – Metal Rules

“IV: Revenge of the Vengeance isn’t just a Psychostick album, it’s a Psychostick experience. They really went all out on this album. Not all of it makes sense and some of it may be a little over the top, but that’s what makes this band so great- they aren’t afraid to push the envelope of ridiculousness. In fact, they bask in it. Get ready, world. Get ready for the revenge of the vengeance and one of the most action-packed metal albums ever concocted. Rating: 9/10″ – Front Row Report

“The creator of “Humorcore” knock one out of the fucking park with this one (IV: Revenge of The Vengeance). If you’re in a band trying to do parody and funny Metal songs stop right now, you’re just embarrassing yourself, you will not be able to dethrone Psychostick. ” – Rock Hard Place

“In ‘IV: Revenge of The Vengeance’ you have more craziness and beard than ever before, weighing in at a whopping twenty one beard bending tracks of strictly tongue in cheek craziness and general insanity with song titles ranging from ‘NSFW’, ‘Quack Kills’, ‘Loathe Thy Neighbor’ and the previously unleashed  ‘Dogs Like Socks’ and ‘Obey The Beard’ as well as a cover of Kenny Loggins ‘Danger Zone’. Add a couple of cameos from Bill Manspeaker, the founder of Green Jello and you can imagine the types of craziness that is unleashed once play is pressed. Simply put, ‘IV: Revenge of The Vengeance’ is beardtastic and in the words of Psychostick ‘Obey The Beard’.” – Firebrand After Darkness Mag

“make no mistake about it – these guys rock first and foremost, especially on this album’s standouts, the anthemic “Obey the Beard,” as well as “Dogs Like Socks,” which explores the complexities of canine/hosiery relations.” – Erie Reader

“There are so many little things that make this more than your run-of-the-mill laugh and enjoy album. For example, in the lyric book, for the song “Choking Hazard”, it simply displays the pamphlet image of what to do in the event of someone choking. This unpredictable, jokey style they incorporate spills over into their live show and after four albums, they show no wear and tear in their funny bone and no signs of decelerating those head banging riffs. I could ramble a little more, but you’re better off experiencing this yourself. So go buy it already.” – Media Mikes

“This new album features twenty-one tracks of skits and songs that will make you listen to it until you can catch all the references from pop culture, the metal scene, and moments of “did he just say what I think he said?” With the fast paced musings of being stalked by a water fowl in “Quack Kills” to “NSFW” that will never see airplay on your local radio station, the album covers a wide range of subjects in its lampooning. It is no wonder their fans, that have had three albums to delight them in metal geekiness and humor, have waited anxiously for this new release.” – National Rock Review

“Psychostick is not a metal parody band; they are a great metal band with funny songs. “IV: Revenge of the Vengeance” starts off with a movie style trailer that sets you up for the insanity that will follow. There are songs about Anatidaephobia  (which is the irrational fear that one is being watched by a duck), Bruce Campbell , and even a song the gives accurate information on how to help someone that is choking. The album also has some skits that introduce songs, my favorite being the one that introduces the song “So Heavy” in which the band tries to tune to H flat.” – Extreme Metal TV

“How fuck the Psychostick haven’t played in the UK recently I don’t know, I know so many people who love them here. The album is fierce and hilarious,, it remains a thrashy, compact masterpiece with chunky breakdowns and enriched madness. ” – Music Review Database

“Ha ha. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha!
Okay, give me a moment. I’m still chuckling every time I think of Psychostick’s latest 21 track album Revenge of the Vengeance. Every moment on it is filled with hilarity, from marrying beards, being afraid of ducks and then saving a crowd of people from a dimensional time portal. And I thought I’d heard it all…Tenacious D were the kings of comedy metal, but Rize of the Fenix has made it look like they’ve reached their hay day, as much as I love them. The king’s crown has to go somewhere, and for an album like this, it looks like Psychostick are next in line for the throne.” – Rock Revolt Magazine

About: A Vancouver born Modern Thrash outfit. Titan’s Eve formed in 2008 by brothers Brian and Kyle Gamblin, with Casey Ory on Drums and later joined by Jesse Hord on bass. From day one the band has written the tunes they want to hear, and taken charge of their musical ambitions on their own terms. The early days saw the 4 piece defining their sound and making fans in their home city.

2009/2010 featured their emergence on the Canadian metal scene and the beginning of a strong fan base. They embarked on their first western Canadian tour and gave Canadians a real live taste of their sound. While gaining support and honing their music they ventured into a local studio with the talented Curt Wells. Their first album “The Divine Equal” was later mixed and mastered by Sacha Laskow of Calgary Tech-metal band Divinity. With the release and critical acclaim the album received, their first Cross-Canadian tour followed exposing even more to their unique brand of thrash metal.

2011 saw “The Divine Equal released to a bigger audience, with a 2 month self booked tour of North America. Titan’s Eve had the pleasure to play in front of crazed metal fans all over the United States. 2012 started with a bang with their first arena show and fulfilling a dream of playing with Nu-metal leaders Korn. Fresh of the success from their debut, Titan’s Eve began creating the follow up, “Life Apocalypse”. “This album was written faster and was more of an aggressive attempt at writing and recording an album,” says guitarist Kyle Gamblin. “We hammered out the songs and bunkered down to record in Calgary with Sacha Laskow for a month and recorded every day.”

Taking a turn from their debut, which was released a year previously, but staying true to their personal interpretations of honest, powerful modern metal, “the result, Life Apocalypse, shows our efforts and captures the best performances from all four members of our band. We worked very hard to deliver something that wouldn’t disappoint fans of our last album,” says Brian Gamblin.

Following the release of Life Apocalypse that summer, Titans Eve took the “Titan Train” (i.e. their 2007 Ford E-350 van) and travelled across western Canada, bringing their music to as great an audience as possible, supporting Canadian metal heavyweights Anvil followed by a tour with super-group Kill Devil Hill featuring Rex Brown of Pantera. After these incredible tours, they’re biggest venture yet came into focus with an invite to be a support act on the Arch Enemy European Khaos tour. This saw their first tour in Europe, playing to the receptive and enthusiastic European metal crowds.

2013-14 had been used for writing and recording their third album, with breaks from the rehearsals by touring westeren Canada, playing music festivals and opening for the likes of Diamoned Head, Raven and soulfly. The album was recorded in Vancouver’s legendary Warehouse Studio with renowned producer and engineer Eric Mosher. The mastering was completed by Canadian metal hero Jeff Waters of Annihilator.

Stay tuned for a new album and new tours in 2015!

“Unstoppable Titans Eve” – Georgia Straight (Vancouver)

“Blistering set of doom thrash” – Beatroute

“Titans Eve has quickly risen through the ranks of the Vancouver metal scene, quickly becoming one of the best thrash bands in town.” – Absolute Underground  Magazine

“The Gamblin brothers shred like crazy, easily making Titans Eve one of the best local (Vancouver) thrash bands. They really blew everyone away, and sent beer flying all over the place.” – Absolute Underground Magazine (Live Review)

“Titans Eve churned out their own unique brand of thrash metal. Brothers Kyle and Brian Gamblin did a great job stirring up the crowd,… With a short but sweet set with crowd favourites including “The Tides of Doom”, “Serpent Rising”, “Into the Fire” and “Living Lifeless,” Titans Eve left it all on stage and made a strong impression.” – Abort Mag (Live Review)

“Gotta love bands like this that come from left field and surprise one with their sound, attitude and imagery. Titans Eve hails from Vancouver, hardly a global metal hotspot, and performs traditional and true heavy metal without any of the superfluous gimmickry that has become a hallmark of metal betrayal and ineptitude. The quartet’s sound is heavy and anthemic and blatantly related to the true sounds of Priest, Maiden and Arch Enemy” – Metallian.com

“Titans Eve had everything that was needed to make for a killer show; solid memorable music that can move even the folks who are unfamiliar with the songs, backed by a tight, powerful performance. ” – Metalstorm.net (Live Review)

“TITANS EVE have embraced the old fashioned Thrash ethic of keeping an eye on quality and not going overboard with content. ” – Metal-Observer.com

“The Canadians’ sophomore retains the thrash shapes of their debut but also allows more room for melody and lyricism to flow, adding an emotive strength to the introspective tales of the human condition, destiny and personal struggle…if the Mayans were right and 2012 is the year we face the apocalypse, Titans Eve are more than an adequate soundtrack.” 4/5 – Terrorizer Mag

“One metal act that should be hitting your radar if it hasn’t already is Canadian thrashers TITANS EVE…The sophomore album from TITANS EVE“Life Apocalypse” is a tempest. It seldom slows and it’s to the band’s credit they know how far to push and make a statement then summon back their typhoon to leave their listeners breathless…”Overcast”, “Destined to Die”, “Road to Ruin”, “Divided We Fall” and”The Abyss” are some of the fastest and fiercest metal tracks you’ll hear this year.” Blabbermouth.net

“Best of all, the hooks on this record are enormous, with none of the eleven tracks feeling like a throwaway. The tunes are so insistent and contagious that it feels like they fly by: you’ve got the Mastodonian stomp of “Destined to Die”, the Maiden-esque guitar melody that sneaks into the thunderous “Road to Ruin”, the melodic thrash of “The Abyss”, the crushing mid-tempo groove that dominates the chorus of “Life Apocalypse.” – MSN.com

“Vancouver’s TITANS EVE have really hit a sweet spot with their second album. ” – Bravewords.com

“Vancouver-based thrashers Titans Eve strike the perfect balance between tuneful, old-school, ’80s–style metal and the more extreme variants that came to dominate in the ’90s on its latest, Life Apocalypse. ” – The Georgia Straight (Vancouver, BC Weekly)

“In an age where a plethora of thrash bands are focussing all their energies on trying to recapture the sounds of the 80’s, it’s great to hear a forward thinking, ambitious thrash metal outfit. Canadian Titans Eve have all the essential thrash ingredients in their sound, but they’re trying to forge something original in those flames. Their songs are laced with robust melody, captivating guitar-intricacies, and truly memorable and striking passages, while the powerful vocals of Brian Gamblin provide an imposing focal point. Titans Eve are a genuinely exciting proposition, and Life Apocalypse is quite a superb album deserving of much recognition. 4.5/5″  – Zero Tolerance Magazine

Biography:

Creaking, bleak and articulate in its fury, Idolatry perform dynamic black metal that is at once cold and calculating, and then a schizophrenic catharsis. Comprised of members from Edmonton’s finest pedigree of extreme metal with singular vision to be old Norway’s soldier in Canada’s frozen tundra of misery. Live, Idolatry is corpse painted, spiked, and manic, raiding crowds of their attention to all else….terrifying. At the pen, Idolatry is wise and ancient. Heavily steeped in philosophy and the defense of Atheistic Satanism and the expulsion of abhorrent inner turmoil.

Fear what is coming….. Lest the mirrors paint your face in our madness.

About:

Since early 2011, Grand Prairie, AB’s Arrival of Autumn has been shaking up the Canadian prairies with their heavy riffs, hooky vocals and speed demon double kicks. Their versatile headbanging tunes has made them accessible to fans of rock to the most hardcore death metal moshpit.

A band name inspired by Opeth lyric’s (thanks to drummer Ty Fox) and influenced by various genres ranging from melodic death to groove metal to progressive to rock n’ roll, AOA’s catalogue has grown rapidly with two self-releases in 2014. First it was their debut EP ‘Endless Nights’ in March followed by their ten track full length ‘Shadows’ in September.

“We are just trying to make a record that’s a little different than what’s going on at the moment. It’s no secret there is an abundance of the exact same thing floating around and we would never add to that. We wanted to give them something exciting and different to listen to. The good thing about our album is you can take any 3 songs put them together and it’s great. Our CD doesn’t rely on having only a few good songs. Every song has the potential to be a single. It can be received any way and people will get what AOA is all about.” comments AOA vocalist Ty Fox.

Touching on personal issues to triumphing demons as a band, ‘Shadows’ with a dash of dark lyrics and tracks such as The Court Of Owls to There’s No Angels Here to the infectious chorus of Like Fire demonstrates AOA are not just evolving, but  are a live force raging to be discovered by the masses.
